Loneliness Awareness Week, organised by the Marmalade Trust, runs from 17th to 21st June. This year's theme is to reduce stigma around loneliness and to acknowledge that it exists - it is something that is likely to affect us all.
The Marmalade Trust is the UK's loneliness charity for all ages. It is dedicated to tackling loneliness across society and helping people to make new friendships.
Why not invite your neighbours round for tea, plan a games night or even arrange a street party? Check out the Marmalade Trust's interactive map to see the different events near you during this Loneliness Awareness Week.
