You can expect a warm welcome from the members of the support group, and have the opportunity to talk about yourself and your experience of cancer.
You’re not expected to talk about anything you don’t want to, and it can take a few visits before feeling comfortable enough to talk about personal matters.
The Cancer United Support Group meet regularly every Tuesday between 6:30pm to 9:30pm at the East Worthing Community Centre (on the first Tuesday of each month) and the Wick Village Hall (on the second, third and fourth Tuesday of each month). Meetings can include an activity, social event or a talk from a guest speaker.
You may be able to access support services through the group, including complementary therapies and our special fitness classes.
