What is Shopmobility?
Helping you enjoy being out and about. Scooter and wheelchair hire for the day or long term. Whether you are young or old, with a temporary or permanent disability, even just a little unsteady on your feet, we can help
Shopmobility is a community service that provides mobility scooters to anyone who cannot easily manage to get around the town or local area. The service also provides manual and powered wheelchairs. It can be on a regular basis or short term basis. Users must be over 16 years of age.
Before using us, we can help customers decide whether a wheelchair or scooter is the best option. We will give full training and a demonstration of how to use the equipment safely and effectively. This training is important to ensure that the scooter or wheelchair can meet the needs of the customer and that they are able to have full control in a safe and confident manner.
